Hi folks! Yes... it's been a while... again! Sorry about that... but I'm sure that you all know by now that I'm pretty busy with other stuff these days and so my writing time is somewhat curtailed and I don't get anywhere near as much time for this particular hobby as I used to! If it's any consolation at all, my other hobby / passion / whatever you want to call it... ie my beloved horses... has suffered also, so it's not like I've been off gallivanting around doing other fun stuff. Despite all that I have managed to complete and upload a couple of new things for you all... a new chapter for Thompsonville plus one of my poems. I am trying to get a few new things finished off and proof read, so once these are done I'll be sure to post them! If you're eager for more reading to forget to visit my Links page and check out sites like that of my good friend Dabeagle, as well both the Nifty Archives and The Best of Nifty sites. You won't be disappointed! Work is also progressing with that other book project I've been helping out with and there should be some new titles added there soon as well. The main subject of both of these books is the legendary gay Russian ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev, with the first of these detailing 49 hidden letters between Nureyev and respected Australian author Patrick White, detailing his life and loves, and the second being about the dancers love for the enigmatic Freddie Mercury from the rock band Queen. Both books lift the lid on Nureyev's loves and lifestyle and make for some very interesting reading. Trust me, there is no stone left unturned and nothing is left to the imagination! The first of these books Rudy Nureyev: With-Out Make-Up is currently at the printers here in Australia and will be available shortly. For those who live in the northern hemisphere however and who may be interested, we have made the book available in the U.S. through the Lulu website, both as a paperback and as a digital (pdf) download. We are now working on re-editing the next book: Rock Idol & Superstar: Freddie Mercury & Rudolph Nureyev. Who knows where this project may lead, but it is one that I'm enjoying immensely. The whole book making process is quite interesting. Maybe one day I'll be able to help other writers out there who would like to see their works in print?
